Biblical Application

We begin the first 5 minutes of every class with prayer and devotions. Students are encouraged to memorize each week's Scripture.

Week 1 Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding.  In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight."
Week 2 2 Samuel 7:28 “Now, O Lord God, You are God, and Your words are truth, and You have promised this good thing to Your servant.”
Week 3 Psalm 9:10 “And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, for You, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.”
Week 4 Psalm 13:5 “But I have trusted in Your lovingkindness; my heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.”
Week 5 Psalm 2:7 “Some boast in chariots and some in horses, but we will boast in the name of the Lord, our God.”
Week 6 Psalm 31:14 “But as for me, I trust in You, O Lord, I say, “You are my God.”
Week 7 Psalm 56:3

“When I am afraid, I will put my trust in You.”

Week 8 Proverbs 11:13 “He who goes about as a talebearer reveals secrets, but he who is trustworthy conceals a matter.”
Week 9 Proverbs 28:26 “He who trusts in his own heart is a fool, but he who walks wisely will be delivered.”
Week 10 Proverbs 11:28 “He who trusts in his riches will fall, but the righteous will flourish like the green leaf.”
Week 11 Isaiah 43:1 “But now, thus says the Lord, your Creator, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel, “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine!”
Week 12 Jeremiah 7:8 “Behold, you are trusting in deceptive words to no avail.”
Week 13 Daniel 6:23 “Then the king was very pleased and gave orders for Daniel to be taken up out of the den.  So Daniel was taken up out of the den and no injury whatever was found on him, because he had trusted in his God.”
Week 14 John 14:1 “Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me.”
Week 15 Romans 15:13 “Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
Week 16 Revelations 21:5 “And He who sits on the throne said,” Behold, I am making all things new.”  And He said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true.”
  

 Students are encouraged but not required to participate in Biblical Application.
