Biblical Application

We begin the first 5 minutes of every class with prayer and devotions. Students are encouraged to memorize each week's Scripture.

 

  

Week 1: "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth." John 4:24

Week 2: "This is the message we heard from Jesus and now declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in Him at all." 1 John 1:5

Week 3: “But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith."  1 Timothy 1:5

Week 4: “He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly, and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”  Micah 6:8

Week 5: "You, Lord, are forgiving and good, abounding in love to all who call to you." Psalm 86:5

Week 6: "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.  Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - His good, pleasing and perfect will." Romans 12:2

Week 7: "Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.  Worship the LORD with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs.  Know that the LORD is God.  It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, the sheep of His pasture." Psalm 100:1 - 3

Week 8: "Love is patient and kind; it is not jealous or conceited or proud; love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable; love does not keep a record of wrongs." 1 Corinthians 13:4 - 5

Week 9: "The Lord your God is with you; His power gives you victory.  The Lord will take delight in you, and in His love He will give you new life.  He will sing and be joyful over you." Zephaniah 3:17

Week 10: "Love must be completely sincere.  Hate what is evil, hold on to what is good.  Love one another warmly as Christians, and be eager to show respect for one another." Romans 12:9 - 10

Week 11: Draw neawr to God, and He will draw near to you ..." James 4:8

Week 12: "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life and have it to the fullest.  I am the good shepherd.  The good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep." John 10:10 - 11

Week 13: "The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter until the full light of day." Proverbs 4:18

Week 14: "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead." 1 Peter 1:3

Week 15: "But Jesus looked at them and said to them, 'With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." Matthew 19:26

Week 16: "And whoever wants to be first must be slave of all.  For even the Son of man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many," Mark 10:44 - 45

 Students are encouraged but not required to participate in Biblical Application.
